The DC Estates Rental Readiness service is a tenant self-assessment. It is not a tenancy application, formal tenant reference, consumer credit score or credit check. Its sole purpose is to help you understand approximately how your rental position might be viewed by a landlord, letting agent or referencing company.
Using the service does not affect your credit score. DC Estates does not perform a hard or soft credit search, make a credit application, access Open Banking, contact an employer or landlord, or send information to a referencing provider.
This assessment is not reported to credit-reference agencies and cannot lower your credit score.02
Quick Reference
The Quick Reference runs in your browser from the answers you enter. It does not require your name, contact details or documents, and the normal Quick journey does not send or save your answers to the DC Estates referencing database. Refreshing or leaving the page clears the result.

Full Free Reference
The Full Free Reference stores a short-lived private draft so you can complete the detailed journey and securely return with your DC reference and private access code. It may include legal/contact details, target rent, address history, employment and income details, self-declared credit and rental history, applicant-supplied documents, consent records and the calculated Rental Readiness Score.
Documents are requested to make the exercise realistic, but DC Estates does not perform forensic authentication. Labels such as “Identity document supplied”, “Applicant-supplied bank statement” and “Information from applicant-supplied credit report” do not mean independently verified.
The service does not process bank passwords, PINs or online-banking credentials.

Seven-day retention and automatic deletion
Full Free Reference records and uploaded documents are scheduled to expire seven days after the private assessment is created. This short period allows you to complete the journey, return securely and print or save your report.
Expired records and their private files are deleted automatically by the service's bounded cleanup process. Deletion may occur on the next referencing-system cleanup run after the seven-day expiry rather than at the exact second of expiry. Once deleted, the assessment and files cannot be restored through the portal.
Minimal non-identifying operational/security records may be retained where reasonably necessary to protect the service, demonstrate deletion or investigate abuse. They are not used for tenant scoring or marketing.

Private upload and access controls
Documents are stored in private object storage and are not publicly addressable. Applicant access requires a high-entropy private session or both the DC reference and separate access code. Sessions are secure and HTTP-only, attempts are rate-limited, filenames are sanitised and supported uploads are type/signature checked.
Sensitive content is not placed in public URLs, advertising pixels or ordinary application logs. No third-party analytics is added to the referencing journey.

Your choices and rights
You choose whether to use the service and what accurate information to provide. Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object or receive certain personal information. Contact DC Estates at demetrisproperties@hotmail.com or 07809 413775 and quote your DC reference. Do not email sensitive identity or financial documents unless a secure method has been agreed.
You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. The score excludes protected characteristics and never guarantees acceptance or rejection.
